A classically trained actor, Todd Anthony Manaigo has appeared in roles on network television, cable television, and film beside master actors the likes of Forest Whitaker, Charles S. Dutton, Anika Noni Rose, and Ruben Santiago-Hudson. Todd has also appeared in commercials and starred in over 20 independent films.
Todd Anthony’s formal theater training came in the Fine Arts program at Georgia State University where he minored in Theater. Under the tutelage of acting coach and mentor Dr. Shirlene Holmes, Todd honed his craft and matured as an actor. He has also trained at The Alliance Theatre, Premier Actors Network, and Dad’s Garage (improv).
Todd’s most recent television credits include an appearance alongside Academy Award winner Forest Whitaker on the ABC Epix drama series The Godfather of Harlem, and along side of Sinqua Walls on the first season of BETs hit show American Soul. Todd has also made co-star appearances on the CBS show MacGyver, CWs The Originals, as well as Being Mary Jane, and the recurring role of June Weaver on the BET series The Quad. His film credits include a supporting roles beside award winning actor Charles S. Dutton (Comeback Dad), and Essence Atkins (My Other Mother), as well as a leading role in the independent film 30 Day Promise.
Currently, Todd conducts weekly Adult acting classes at Anatomy Acting Academy in Atlanta-Georgia, where he is the founder, and lead coach/instructor. He also conducts a weekly online scene work class, Anatomy of A Scene (AoAS), and monthly scene study workshops that focus on developing actors for leading roles in theatre, film and television.
Todd Anthony’s love of acting is the result of his desire to enrich the lives of others through the performing arts, as well as his strong spiritual beliefs. He lives his life according to the belief that “Every morning when you awake, GOD has already given you all the tools you need to be successful. You have an obligation to put those tools to use.”
He also lives by the belief “In the absence of fear all things are possible.”
